BabyGlow works by delivering Teoxane Redensity 1 superficially into the skin, using fine microinjections placed across the treatment area. Alongside hyaluronic acid, Redensity 1 carries a polyrevitalising complex of amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Hydration and Radiance from Within

BabyGlow uses Teoxane Redensity 1, which combines non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with a complex of eight amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Delivered just beneath the surface, it hydrates the skin and supports the natural processes that keep it looking healthy, so the improvement is in the quality and radiance of the skin rather than its shape.

Because the treatment supports your skin gradually, the best results come from a short course, typically three sessions spaced two to three weeks apart, with a glow that builds as you go. Many clients then maintain their results with a session roughly every six months.

Is BabyGlow a filler?

No. BabyGlow uses Teoxane Redensity 1, which contains hyaluronic acid but is not a dermal filler. It does not add volume or change the shape of your face. It is a bio-revitalising treatment that hydrates the skin and improves its quality and radiance, delivered just beneath the surface rather than deep to add projection.

Should I have a course of three or four sessions?

Both are delivered two to three weeks apart, and the right number depends on your skin. A course of three tends to suit those up to around 35, or anyone whose skin is already fairly bright and healthy and simply wants a lift in radiance. A course of four gives a more comprehensive glow and is usually the better choice for those aged 35 and over, or for skin that is more dull, tired, or dehydrated and would benefit from a little more revitalisation. Single sessions can also be booked as a one-off glow or a top-up, and most clients maintain their results with a session roughly every six months. Dr Shaan will recommend the right course for your skin at consultation.

When will I see results?

BabyGlow is known for its immediate glow. Many clients report a fresh, hydrated, radiant look straight after the very first session, which is part of what makes it such a popular treatment before an event. The effect then deepens across the course as the skin is revitalised, with the full benefit seen once the course is complete, and results that look natural rather than sudden.

Is there any downtime?

There is very little. Because the product is placed superficially, you may have small raised bumps at the injection points, along with mild redness, which usually settle within a few hours to a day or two. Most people return to normal activities straight away, and Dr Shaan will give you full aftercare guidance.

How is BabyGlow different from Profhilo?

Both improve skin quality rather than adding volume, but they work differently. Profhilo uses a very high concentration of hyaluronic acid deeper in the skin and is particularly strong for laxity and firmness across larger areas such as the neck and lower face. BabyGlow uses Teoxane Redensity 1, which pairs hyaluronic acid with amino acids and antioxidants, delivered more superficially for hydration and radiance, and it suits delicate areas well. At consultation, Dr Shaan will advise which is right for you, and the two can sometimes be combined in a wider skin quality plan.
