Sunekos is an injectable bio-remodelling treatment that regenerates skin from within. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume, it combines hyaluronic acid with six amino acids, the building blocks of collagen and elastin, to stimulate your skin's own repair. It is particularly effective for the under-eye area, midface, neck, and décolletage, where ageing produces crepiness, fine lines, and dullness. At Āatma Aesthetics London, every session is administered by a GMC-registered doctor inside our CQC-registered clinic at The O2, Greenwich.

Dr Shaan founded Āatma after years of medical training at the University of Southampton and clinical experience across hospitals in the UK and Australia. That foundation shapes how he practises aesthetic medicine: methodical, anatomically led, and conservative.

How is Sunekos different from Profhilo?

Both are bio-remodelling treatments, but they work differently. Profhilo uses pure hyaluronic acid to stimulate hydration and collagen broadly. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids - the actual building blocks of collagen and elastin - for more targeted regeneration. Many clients use both in sequence for compounding benefit. We'll talk through which makes sense for you at consultation.

Can Sunekos be used under the eyes if I'm not suitable for filler?

Yes - this is one of its most common applications. Sunekos 200 is specifically formulated for delicate skin like the under-eyes. Because it improves skin quality rather than adding volume, it's suitable for clients whose under-eye concerns are texture-related (crepiness, fine lines, hollowness from thin skin) rather than volume-related.

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients need 3 sessions, spaced 10-14 days apart. More pronounced concerns may benefit from 4 sessions. Maintenance is typically a single session every 6-9 months.

When will I see results?

Initial changes in hydration and skin quality appear within 1-2 weeks. Because Sunekos works by stimulating your own collagen and elastin production, results build progressively - most clients see peak results 4-6 weeks after their final session.

How long do the results last?

6-9 months after a full course, depending on individual response, age, and lifestyle factors (sun exposure, sleep, skincare routine). A single maintenance session in that window keeps results sustained.

Is there any downtime?

Sunekos has minimal downtime. You may notice small injection point marks and mild swelling for a few hours, occasionally up to 24 hours, particularly around the under-eyes. Most clients return to work and normal activities the same day. We recommend avoiding makeup for the rest of the day, and skipping intense exercise, saunas, and alcohol for 24 hours.
