Profhilo is an injectable bio-remodelling treatment that firms and rehydrates skin from within. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume, it uses one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid available to deeply hydrate the tissue and stimulate your skin's own collagen and elastin. It is particularly effective for the lower face, neck, hands, and décolletage, where ageing produces laxity, crepiness, and dullness. Profhilo is one of the most advanced injectable skin treatments available, using a very high concentration of stabilised hyaluronic acid to remodel ageing, lax skin. It spreads beneath the surface to deeply hydrate the tissue and stimulate your skin's natural collagen and elastin production. The result is improved firmness, elasticity, and overall skin quality over time.

Designed for areas that show early laxity such as the lower face, neck, and décolletage, Profhilo strengthens and tightens the skin without adding volume or changing your shape. Rather than "filling," it remodels and refines skin quality, giving results that are subtle, progressive, and naturally firmer.

How is Sunekos different from Profhilo?

Both are bio-remodelling treatments, but they work differently. Profhilo uses pure hyaluronic acid to stimulate hydration and collagen broadly. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids - the actual building blocks of collagen and elastin - for more targeted regeneration. Many clients use both in sequence for compounding benefit. We'll talk through which makes sense for you at consultation.

Can Sunekos be used under the eyes if I'm not suitable for filler?

Yes - this is one of its most common applications. Sunekos 200 is specifically formulated for delicate skin like the under-eyes. Because it improves skin quality rather than adding volume, it's suitable for clients whose under-eye concerns are texture-related (crepiness, fine lines, hollowness from thin skin) rather than volume-related.

Is Profhilo a filler?

No. Although Profhilo is made from hyaluronic acid, it is not a dermal filler and does not add volume or change the shape of your face. It is a bio-remodelling treatment that diffuses through the skin to hydrate the tissue and stimulate collagen and elastin, improving firmness and quality rather than projection.

How many sessions of Profhilo will I need?

The standard protocol is two sessions spaced four weeks apart. Most clients then maintain their results with a single top-up session roughly every six months, although Dr Shaan will tailor this to your skin and your goals at consultation.

When will I see results?

Some hydration and glow is often visible within the first couple of weeks, but the firming and remodelling effects build gradually. Most clients see the full result around four to eight weeks after their second session, as collagen and elastin production increases.

How is Profhilo different from Sunekos?

BDoth are bio-remodelling treatments rather than fillers, but they suit different needs. Profhilo uses a very high concentration of hyaluronic acid and is particularly strong for skin laxity and firmness across larger areas such as the neck and lower face. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is especially suited to delicate areas such as the under-eyes. At consultation, Dr Shaan will advise which is right for your skin.
